Both options work

10 ft Spinning rod . Spoons, popper whatever!
We usually use 30 pound braid with leader of 1m . But depends on what you comfortable

Flat backs, Snake spinners,Seeker spinners all effective.
usual chisel nose poppers. Green, White or Pink

Could one use a 8.6ft rod as well? Thinking of getting a setup I could use on boat/ kayak as well as spin from the shore.
