Carp Cakes

                              CARP CAKES

Ingredients

1 cup flaked, cooked carp
3 cups mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. ss bacon grease
1/2tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
salt and Pepper
Paprika
Directions
Mix carp, potatoes, bacon grease, butter,
salt, pepper and paprika; then add beaten egg, Shape into cakes and pan fry in hot grease until a golden brown.

No such luck Cyprinus!   :sorry:

I love the very detailed recipes that you use though for preparing your baits for Specimen Carp. While I have not really been particularly moved to target those big ones, I do appreciate the pan-sized fresh water fish for the table.

I firmly believe that as the smaller ones are often found in abundance and because a lot of the natural predators are gone due to human intervention, there should be no problem with a sustainable harvest. The only problem is that some waters are extremely foul and one has to exercise caution in this respect.

Tight lines and I hope you and those bigguns continue the intimate relationship.
