Nice specimen wonderwurm daar.

What works better for Galjoen, worm or redbait?

In my limited experience for galjoen: Worm and white mussel will work anywhere Macassar side and Melkbos and surrounds, but have only had luck with red bait up the coast in the pearly beach area. My best galjoen have been caught on salted white mussel.

Lekker, thanks guys. Looks like white mussel is the way to go but a bit of redbait cant hurt as a backup! Gona be hitting macassar or baileys this weekend for sure! Don't know yet if I'm in the mood for lekker elf or galjoen and kolstert

Hmmm nice. maybe a worm and mussel combo will be deadly  :flag:

Where at macs do you fish for the Gallies? Is there a reef there or something?

How and where do you collect wonder worms? or can you buy them?

Dig in the sand in the crevices amongst the rocks at low tide , it is illegal to buy them.
